I know that being at the top of the ladder gets you the most pts at the end of the week..but I get no points for defending...Since I cannot challenge anyone..i can only gain pts once a week where people can gain more by winning and losing multiple challenges..seems a bit unfair...

I was thinking the King of the Ladder should get at least 1 pt for defending..

thoughts pls...

thanks

Nice try bud. Have you conveniently forgotten you started at the top without doing anything for it?

Effectively, every time you defend you keep your 12 points. If you like at me for example, I have only been able to challenge twice and I only get 2 points per week because I was placed at the bottom. I could argue that that is unfair too. It's going to be very difficult to make up for the 24 points you already received for defending your position ;)

It's lonely at the top. :D

you are right..I started at the top due to my pts, however, that doesn't differentiate from a tournament where random.org would have placed me there..my point is that I can only get 12 pts per week no matter how many times i defend.. lets say the second rung lost a challenge and went down to third...but challenged before weeks end and won and moved back up to rung 2...they get 12 pts too..so my being at the top that week gained me no advantage over that person...I can NEVER challenge..if i stay at the top...so long haul yes I get more pts but on a short term basis the king doesn't...there should be some benefit to defending as the king..thats all Im saying...

Although i won 2 games, we are still playing the third game... Can i be challenged or do i have 24 hours to rest or wait till the third game is finished or do i play AAfitz within 3 days ? not that i really care , but i feel i must bring to your attention rule 5.

you get 24 hours if you get challenged, not win one that you made. I thought the same thing.

If you beat me, you will get the 24 hour free time though. But at the second you won the second game, you were moved up, and became a piece of pie on the window sill. :D

You do have a few days to wait of course before you respond of course.

Just to clarify:

- A challenge is over as soon as there is a winner. It doesn't matter if you're still in a 3rd game.

- Only if you defend your position against a challenger, you cannot be challenged for 24 hrs.

- You do indeed have 3 days from the moment of the challenge to give me your map and settings. Then you have another 3 days to join the games. However, remember that, in general, it's not beneficial to stretch things out.
