Final Fantasy Wars 7vs12 [67/64]
This tournament calls for a total of 64 players divided into 4 main brackets of 16 players each. I will also be looking for about 5-10 reserves and, if needed, they will just fill in as the character of the dropout. Each of those 4 brackets are divided into 4 sub brackets of 4 players each. Examples below show main brackets but sub brackets will have character order randomized by random pairings. Rounds 1-3 will be played as singles games while rounds 4+5 will be doubles. For round one 4 games will be played and the top 2 players in each sub bracket are to advance to round 2. The 2 players with the highest scores will advance to round 2 (scoring listed below). The settings for each game are to be 4 player games with a random map, random forts, random cards, and sunny except on select maps. All games are sequential. Round two will consist of 4 games with 8 players each. Other settings are the same as previous round except for scoring which is listed below. The 4 players with the highest scores will advance to round 3. Round 3 will consist of the top 4 heroes from each game against the top 4 villains of each game. Games will be played in 8 player games with a total of 4 games once again same scoring system implemented. Winner of round 3 is declared champion of Final Fantasy 7/12. The top 4 players will advance but now pair up in 2 doubles teams for each of the two final fantasy games, so Final Fantasy 7 will have 2 doubles teams and so will Final Fantasy 12. The doubles teams will be paired according to score. The 1st and 2nd players will team up and the 3rd and 4th will pair up. Then the two teams will go one on one in a 5 game series that is best 3 of 5. The winning team of each game will advance too the finals to determine which Final Fantasy game is best. This will be done in a 9 game series best 5 out of 9 wins it. The winning team is crowned champion and the optional 6th round will be presented in a singles game between the 4 players in round 5. It’ll go back to the 4 player scoring system with 4 games. This will be for title of tournament champion if option is not taken then title will go to the winning team. If you are interested post saying which character you would like to play as. If there is a character you would like to be that is not listed than just post that character with the game and hero/villain and I will replace a character on the list with your chosen character.Prememium not required as long as one spot is left open. I will most likely be continuing this tournament with different wars between different final fantasy games my possibilities are almost endless, but I will be inviting all original participants back and they get first dibs. I will be participating as Cloud Strife.
