Welcome to the NFL 2009 Season Forecast.
There is a good chance that the results to this tourney will be similar to the results of the upcoming 2009 NFL Season. So grab your favorite team and help them out!
This tournament will be a doubles tournament. Just like the real season there will be 17 weeks. So this will still be going on while the 2009 NFL Season kicks off. Do not join unless you can play all 17 weeks (plus playoffs if you make it) or at least get an account sitter if you cant. I will not require premium as there will only be 1 game issued out per team per week (with the exception of 1 bye week per team *see schedule). Also if your team makes the playoffs the format will be the same playoff format as the NFL with the exception of once the playoffs start each match up will be a best of 3.
Note: The home team in the playoffs will be just like the real NFL. For the SuperBowl, it will be 2 maps of the team with the better record and 1 map of the team with the worse record.
Each team will pick their own settings/maps as their own home map. I will do my best to send out games each weekend. If a game is not joined by the following Thursday, it will be the opposing team's decision whether they want to wait or just accept the game as a forfeit. If the game is a forfeit the game can still be an exhibition game though the result will be a win no matter the outcome for the team that joined on time. However to accept a forfeit you MUST POST that the other team has not joined still.
I will be posting a list of players that don't have a partner, however i will not be making teams for you. The list of extra players is just for reference and to make finding partners easier for you. (free agents). If you dont have a team or want to be picked up by another player looking for a partner, just post you want to be a free agent
No speed, no fog, no freestyle
