Original Thread: http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=91&t=118870
This tournament is open to premium players only because we will be playing multiple games at once.
This tournament will follow the previous Masters format.
Gameplay
This tournament will have six divisions of six players each. The divisions will be broken up by the seeding of the players based on the number of points that each player has gained on the Arms Race map.
Each division will play games with the following settings:
Sequential, Automatic, Assassin, No Spoils, Adjacent, Sunny
Sequential, Automatic, Assassin, No Spoils, Adjacent, Foggy
Sequential, Automatic, Terminator, Flat Rate, Chained, Sunny
Sequential, Automatic, Terminator, Flat Rate, Chained, Foggy
Sequential, Automatic, Standard, Escalating, Unlimited, Sunny
Sequential, Automatic, Standard, Escalating, Unlimited, Foggy
Advancing
The two players that accumulate the most points in each round will advance to the next round.
In the first round the six players that accumulate the most points that do not already advance will move to round two as wild cards.
To advance to the finals the top two point earners will move on and we will have final group of six.
Points System
Points will be allocated in the following manner:
Win on Assassin = 7 pts
Win on Terminator = 5 pts (2pts for the final kill and 3pts for the win)
Each Kill on Terminator = 2 pts
Win on Standard = 7 pts
Last Killed on Standard = 5 pts
Fourth Killed on Standard = 4 pts
Third Killed on Standard = 3 pts
Second Killed on Standard = 2 pts
First Killed on Standard = 0 pts
To deal with long games, there will be a 35 round cap where points will be awarded as follows, according to the setting
Standard - all remaining players will receive the number of points that the next eliminated player would have received.
Assassin - no points will be awarded
Terminator - each remaining player will receive 1 pt.
Tiebreaker
In the case of a tie we will determine the player that advances based on number of wins. If the tie is not broken we will look at terminator kills, then the points earned in the previous round. If the tie is not broken a best of three heads up match will be played with the following settings:
Sequential, Automatic, Standard, Escalating, Adjacent, Foggy
Sequential, Automatic, Standard, Flat Rate, Chained, Foggy
Sequential, Automatic, Standard, No Spoils, Unlimited, Sunny
