Welcome to the 2010 NCAA Baseball playoffs!
This tournament will follow the NCAA baseball playoff system through its three stages: Regionals, Super Regionals, and College World Series. There will be 64 players playing in a 1v1 format; all baseball games in the bracket are a best-of-3 Conquer Club series. Freemiums are welcome, but you must keep at least three slots open. Maps and settings are listed below - there are a variety of maps, so take a look to see where you want to play. All games are Automatic and Sequential. If you sign up without a team preference, you will be randomly assigned a team. I reserve the right to completely ignore you if your method of signing up proves to me that you haven't read this thread at all [Example: Signing up to play on the Canada map, signing up with a partner, signing up to be a university that didn't qualify for the baseball playoffs, etc.]
Regionals
The 64 teams are broken up into 16 groups of four, who will play in a double-elimination bracket.
Super Regionals
The 16 remaining teams will each play one best-of-3 series, with the 8 winners advancing to the College World Series. For clarification's sake, note that this means you will be playing either 6 or 9 CC games in the Super Regional; there are three baseball games in the Super Regional, each of which is a best-of-3 Conquer Club series.
College World Series
The College World Series is two four-team double elimination tournaments, with the winners meeting in the championship series, which is a best-of-3 affair (similar to the Super Regionals).
If this is confusing and you want to see it in bracket form, the real NCAA bracket is here:
