WHL FINAL BRACKET
http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd27 ... Lfinal.pngI'm fired up with the Portland Winterhawks back in the WHL junior hockey playoffs for the first time in four years. So here's a CC tourney to follow along with the postseason hockey of the Northwest.
Play: 1 vs. 1
Open: freebies and premium (keep 2 slots open)
This is a simple 16-team bracket...each round will be a best-of-7 faceoff...three maps on each players home ice. Because, nothing was done in this tourney to earn home-ice advantage...Game 7 will be on Canada, flat rate, chained, sunny.
Check the bracket to see which teams are available...CC player is listed in green under the team on the bracket...to start Portland and Calgary are spoken for.
Also include your home ice settings...sequential and auto-drop are required...the rest is up to you (Map, Spoils, Forts and fog/sun)
Get ready for face-off.

Quick question, flex.
Are you running it as a bracket (ex: the winner of Calgary/Moose Jaw will play the winner of Kootenay (sucks!)/Medicine Hat) or like the WHL actually runs (ex: the highest ranked remaining team plays the lowest ranked remaining team)?

Straight bracket style...since the seeds weren't earned in any way.

Then I guess I actually have to cheer for Kootenay (sucks!) so that I can crush them in the second round!

A quick correction to the rules...Game 7 will be the neutral map on Canada, flat, chained, sunny.
Game 5 will go to the higher seeded settings and Game 6 to the lower seed.
