The Random Map Duel 3 [Winner: mattattam]
Posted: Wed Nov 25, 2009 1:32 pmThis tournament is designed to determine who is the best 1v1 player on any map. There will be 6 rounds. All the games will be 1v1. We will use the random map feature, which actually wasn't around the last 2 times I organized this tournament (so yay for CC advances!). You must win against your opponent to advance to the next round. Opponents will be chosen at random at the beginning of every round.
Freemiums are welcome as games can be played one at a time instead of all at once. Always keep one slot open.
Failure to join a game within 24 hours will result in a warning. After 48 hours, you will be kicked out.
Round 1 & 2 will be best three out of five.
Round 3 & 4 will be best four out of seven.
Round 5 will be best five out of nine.
Round 6 will be best six out of eleven for the final duel.
This is to minimize the effect of luck and determine who has the best skill 1v1 in the CC and can translate that onto any map.
All games will be standard, automatic, sequential, escalating, chained, and sunny.
