Tomorrow is friday and you (Lx) asked team captains to send their teams to you. That means we are going to receive second step (round 2) games in sunday. I dont know how other groups are doing, but half of our games are going on. 1 Triple - 1 Quad - and 2 doubles i think.
My question is, can we make the schedule in such a way that every round to be played in 3 weeks instead 2 ?
If not, i am afraid that will end up with when we reach to round 4, we still be playing round 2 games mate.
If it is not a big deal, please consider it :D

Btw, Game 5241037 goes to imperial dragoons. To your attention. 8-)

Sorry mate, with a 2 week schedule this is going to take 8 months already, with a 3 week schedule it would take year. You will indeed be playing games of various rounds regularly....

Thanks all. Round 1 results updated, see page 1, 3rd post.

Team Captains: I need the player assignments for round 2 by tomorrow (Friday).

If I don't have them for your team by the time I start making the games, I will use the same line-up you gave me for round 1

hi there thx for hosting this tournament. I have a question, why is the quad win worth 5 points? Isnt 4 a better choise? As it is now, a win in the quads is worth more than winning all singels. If you get a bad drop or some bad rolls in the first round the whole set of games is lost.

I agree. However, I needed an uneven amount of points to avoid the long tiebreaker games we had the first tournament. I choose to make the quads 5 points instead of 4. I thought that the most appropriate, since the quad game is usually the last to finish and thus the tiebreaker.

I agree with you Lx - choosing 5pts for the quad was a smart move. There's a lot less likelihood of a bad drop in quads (not when the terrs are divided amongst 8 players) plus it's a lot easier to recover from. It's also a greater measure of a team's unity and ability to work together, so weighting it with an extra point is quite apt as this tourney is more about teamplay rather than individuals.

I guess it's inevitable with almost 100 players in this tournament. We are having some problems with players not being able to join their games because (one of) their opponents has them on their foe list.

Please do me a favor and check the game rosters on page 1, 3rd post. If you see anybody on the opposite team that you have on your foe list, take him/her off for now.

Thank you all for your cooperation,

I thought that was the reason but, why not be able to split points?

That's easy Artur: I need a decision on which team wins. It's the amount of wins that count, not the points you get. The points only come into play if teams have the same amount of wins....
