Sorry NS, I know you don't like people posting so many new tourney's at once, trying to get a bunch started before the restrictions go into effect. I doubt I will be the only one to do this.
I'm totally unoriginal, I know, but running a series of tourneys on all of the maps would be fun I think, and I'm going to play in all of them, so I'll get experience on all of the maps even if I lose all of my games on that map.
NO FREEMIES, we will be playing at least 5 games at a time
Settings: Age of Merchants, 1v1, Auto, Standard, Seq, Esc, Chained, Sunny
WORDS: Okay, to make this a little different, I'm not doing this bracket style , this way everybody gets a chance to play more games (gets more experience). The 32 players will be divided up into 2 divisions using random.org, and each player will play everyone else in their division once, for a total of 15 round robin games sent in 3 groups of 5 games. Each player will have 48 hours to join his/her games or they will forfeit. Then, the 6 players from each group with the best records will move on to the bracket style playoffs. Each round of the playoffs (until the championship) will be best of 3. In the first round the 3rd best player from 1 group will play the 6th best player from the same group, and 4th best will play 5th best. Then the winner of the 3/6 series will play the 2nd best, and the winner of the 4/5 will play the first best. Then the two winners will play. Then these two will be crowned division champ and will play each other in a 5 game set for the overall championship. Tiebreakers are: record against each other (will automatically decide ties between 2 people), then lowest CC score is rated highest (sorry gens, it's an easy thing to do, just don't get in a tie )
