After playing in ROUND 1, all players will go directly to ROUND 2. Before that, a few extra games will be made, but they are additional (the setting will remain the same), which means that they are just set up for fun and marks will not be counted. You are going to play on these maps: Iraq, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Portugal, San Marino, Jamaica, and Haiti. Besides these, you may also try USA Great Lakes, USA New England, USA Rockies, USA Southeast, USA Southwest, USA West, England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland.
The maps for ROUND 2 will be as follow:

(2) Europa
(3) Africa

Bonus marks given for ROUND 2 will be as follow:
(1) 6: eliminate all players
(2) 4: eliminate two players
(3) 2: eliminate one player
(4) 0: cannot eliminate any players
After ROUND 2, marks will be counted automatically by the computer. Then the highest ones in each group can go to ROUND 3, which is the final. And the map being played on in ROUND 3 will be World 2.1! The winner of ROUND 3 will be the FINAL winner of this tournament!
Here are some simple rules which everyone can follow:
(1) no cheating (secret diplomacy, etc.)
(2) be polite and friendly to each other
(3) join the game assigned within 48 hours (although this tournament is not limited by the new rules activated on 12-4-2010, I change the time allowed from 24 hours to 48 hours for your convenience)
(4) if you cannot join the game assigned, please let me know (we may wait for you)
You should not do any actions which are against the above rules (as well as the ones set by Conquer Club), or else you will risk having at least 10 marks deducted. If the case is serious, you may be kicked out from this tournament.
In case a participant decided to quit the tournament or he is kicked out from the tournament, he cannot come back again (although there may be some exceptional cases). After that I will request the first player in the waiting list to replace him. Please be reminded that I will stop counting the marks for the kicked-out player immediately, which means that the total marks of that player will be the marks he gets from the first game to the game that he quits.
When ROUND 1 ends, I will use this forumla to calculate the reserves' marks: [total marks he gets] / [number of games he completes] X [total number of games in ROUND 1]. However, this formula is NOT applicable on reserves who leave before ROUND 1 ends. Here is an example. Suppose there are 15 games in ROUND 1. When the reserve joins in, there are already 10 complete games, and he got 20 marks at last, so the real marks he gets will be: 20 / (15-10) x 15, which is 60. If the mark does not turn out to be an integer, the number will changed into an integer.
Please note that this formula is not applicable on reserves that left before ROUND 1 ends. In order to be fair to the players that have been here in the beginning, if a player does not appear in ROUND 1 GAME E1 onwards, the place will just be cancelled, which means that no reserves will be found.
If more than one players in the same group get the same score at the end of ROUND 2, a game on the map Classic will be set up for those players. The winner of this game can succesfully proceed to ROUND 3, which is the final. The setting of this game will remain the same.
Moreover, as a compliment to the players who have joined this tournament in the beginning, if the player that gets the highest mark in his group at the end of ROUND 2 is a reserve, and the player that gets the second highest mark in his group is a player that has started from the beginning, a game on the map Classic will also be set up for the two players to compete against each other. The winner of this game can proceed to ROUND 3 immediately. The setting of this game will remain the same.
If you have any questions related to this particular tournament, kindly contact me by anyway you like. Now, I wish all of you good luck in this tournament!
