The 33rd version of Initech is a traditional 1 v 1 knockout bracket. In the Initech spirit, all games will be chained/foggy but will not include spoils. This tournament focuses on five maps in Canada. I present Initech XXXIII: Canada II!
OVERVIEW
95-game, 5-round, 5-map tournament. Each knockout round will include best-of-three series on a new map. The final round will be a best-of-five series, with one game on each tournament map.
ELIGIBLE PLAYERS
Premium only, sorry. You'll need more than 4 games open at certain points in the tournament.
RULES & MAPS
All games will be Standard, Automatic, Sequential, Chained, No Spoils, Foggy.
The first round, of 32, will take place on the Canada map.
The second round, of 16, will take place on the Vancouver map.
The third round, of 8, will take place on the Golfe du St. Laurent map.
The semifinals will take place on the Montreal map.
The finals will take place on the previous four maps, plus the Northwest Passage map.
FORMAT
The first four rounds will be comprised of best-of-three series, with the winners advancing to the next round. The finals involve a best-of-five series, with the winner being crowned tournament champion.
