As this is a Speed Tournament, you must be Premium to join!

For many, this summer has become one of the most brutal! With heat records being broken across the northern globe, many have little to no relief from the heat! Well, in spirit of this year's CC Summer Bash, the Special Events team is bringing to you a chance to cool off on some of CC's more icy maps

Read the details below and post in this thread to sign up now!

1. When:
   • To initiate the beginning of the Tournament, I will send a PM to all players who have decided to join the Speed Tournament letting them know that games have begun. After that, I will send continually send PM's with information regarding the tournament (scores and updates to the time) throughout the week.
   • This tournament will take place between Monday, August 22nd and Friday, August 27th
2. Winning:
   • The winner will be the player with the highest win percentage!
   • The winner must have played at least 3 games on each map
   • The player in second place will also receive a General Achievement Medal.
   • Each "Map Conqueror" will win a General Achievement Medal (if they hadn't already won a medal). A Map Conqueror is the player with at least 10 games on a specified map with the highest win percentage given the maps provided.
3. Games:
   • This is a "festival" style speed tournament, which means that games will be available to play during the entire duration of the tournament. You may PM other players that have signed up about setting up games and times specifically, or just hop on and see who's online to play! There will be games up when I am not on CC, and you are welcome to play them whenever it is convenient for you.
   • You may play either freestyle or sequential
   • Good luck!

• Tournament begins on CC Time: 2011-8-22 14:00:00; this is the date when first games are created.
• This tournament is part of the CC Summer Bash.
• Any issues will be solved by the tournament organiser and his/her word is final.

Not at all! If you are actually unsure of whether or not you can make it or not, you can sign up anyway, and if you end up not playing, there is no penalty.

That'd be a case-by-case basis. If someone had quit out of poor sport, or had the option to play but chose not to, then it will still count. However, if the person had technical issues, I won't hold it against them and will remove the game.

Great question! Since I'm not sending any games that particular people HAVE to play, you can join, and then there is no penalty if you don't actually play . No risk, high return!
