March is fast approaching so I am starting a final four tournament. This tournament is designed for 64 players but can start with less. There will be no reserves for this tournament if a player deadbeats he or she forfeits and the other player moves on.
All games will be played in sequential order, flat spoils, chained reinforcements, and no fog. Each round you will play 7 1v1 matchups against the same player with the person with the most combined points moving on and the loser being knocked out of the tournament.
The 7 maps will be divided into categories as follows:
1st Half FG Eastern Hemisphere
1st Half 3P Texan Wars
1st Half FT Classic
2nd Half FG Super Max Prison Riot
2nd Half 3P Midgard
2nd Half FT Haiti
Bench Points Prohibition Chicago
Scoring on these maps depends on how many troops you deploy and how quickly you win. There will also be bonus shots awarded for winning in 5,6,7,8,or 9 rounds. The scoring formula is as follows:
Shots are accrued by taking the total troops deployed and dividing by 10.
So a sample map could be scored like this:
If you win your 1st half FG map in 9 rounds and you deploy 200 troops to your opponents 150 troops deployed the score would go:
200/10= 20 shots+1 bonus shot totalling 21 at 60%(win in 9 rounds from scoring formula) so 13 of 21= 26 points and your opponent would score 150/10= 15 shots at 21% 3 of 15=6 points.
You can only join by replying to this thread. No PMs will be accepted. To join I will need to know what school you are representing and your current score for seeding purposes.
I will be representing Texas and my current score is 1894.
