Map Master Triples Edition: WWII Australia [Win: Post 1]

Winners: Draq, GallantPellham, HardAttack
Welcome to a quick and simple but (hopefully) fun triples tournament which was originally started by pimphawks70 and now run by me. His aim was to hit all the maps in CC and hopefully I can keep going with the same idea on my mind.
Sign-ups will be opened for approximately 1 week, after that we'll start with either 8 or 16 teams. This tournament is a triples-team single elimination bracket where 3 games are played per round though only 1 game at time so freemiums are welcome to enter (in rare cases I’ll ask premiums play 2 at once). In finals, 5 games will be played so the team to reach 3 wins there is the winner of the tournament. Bracket will be made with the help of random.org before round 1.
Settings for this tournament will be Automatic, Sequential, Casual and Chained with Flat Rate and No FoW. Naturally on WWII Australia map.
When signing up make sure that you post 3 names and correctly. Preferably in a form of „captain, player, player“. You can save a spot but you must give me missing players before sign up period ends! Do NOT edit your posts, if you are adding players then make a new post. I'm accepting single players but full teams are preferred.
One favor i d like to ask amazonny, if you could set draq as the team leader for our team please ?

Lol, he's not an experienced tourney campaigner so don't be too hard on him But just to confirm, we're still waiting for 5 more teams and you won't suddenly start with the first 8?
Also, is there a specific duty the captain need to perform beside entering the game and directing conflicts? (I suppose replacements etc?)

Didn't mean to be harsh, more like a joke it was meant, I used wrong smiley I guess
To answer your questions. I'm usually waiting a week or 10 days. If I don't get enough players then I might cut it to 8 teams though usually with more regular maps (including this one, hopefully) I will wait up to 2 weeks to get the tournament to 16 teams. I'll make a decision about the size of the tournament in the next few days.
I only need captains help when there's a player in a team who doesn't join games. Then I'll contact the captain to find a replacement. So far, I've hardly needed to do it and everything else has smoothed itself without the help from captains.

Just wanted to express my interest in this, but I have to get in touch with my trips partners before I officially sign us up... Hopefully I can get back with a definite yes or no in a day or so, if that's ok? thanks!

Welcome both teams! And it is totally alright to reserve a spot and then later either add members or let me know to open the spot to others if you didn't get a team together.
