First post of this topic will include everything that sherkaner had done until the moment he abandoned the tournament. Second (and maybe third post) will be the space that I will use to keep updates (scoreboard and games).

The format:
You join alone (not as a team), and each round you'll get a teammate and two adversaries. If you win (as a team), you get a point. If you loose, you don't. The one with the highest amount of points will win in the end. In total there will be 15 rounds of 2 games each. Games will start once a week.
Teams will be decided by random.org, you will have to trust me to do this correctly. Each set of games is made seperately, which means there is a chance you could play exactly the same people 2 (or even more) games in a row. The name that comes up first will also decide part of the settings (Spoils, fortifications and fog).
To make things more complicated, the players with the lowest amount of points will be eliminated from the tournament after some specific rounds:If players have the same amount of points after 1 round, the one who lost the highest amount of CC points/won the lower amount will be eliminated.
- After 4 rounds 4 players will be eliminated
- after 7 rounds the next 4 players will leave the tournament,
- after 10 rounds 8 players will leave the tournament, which leaves 16 players for the final 5 rounds
If there isn't a single winner at the end (so some players have exactly the same amount of games won), there will be a final battle. The exact format of that is to be decided when it occurs.
This won't really be a tournament for freemiums, since the game load will be 2 games at a time on average, but could reach 4 games at times. But if someone really wants in, he/she can always try to convince me.
Settings:
Random map, 4-player doubles, sequential, automatic deployment.
Each player should decide on his/her home settings for spoils, fortifications and fog.
And as I said before, the winner will receive 1 year of premium.
(For the record, if I win I will decide what to do with it again, but probably the number 2 will receive it)
