Just to clarify:
Round 2 - the same with 2 games of 7 players Round 3 - the same with 2 games of 6 players Round 4 - the same with 2 games of 5 players Round 5 - The same with 2 games of 4 players Round 6 - 1 game with 8 players
After round 5 you would have 6 players left, not 8. After round 4 you would have 8 players left.
Unless I'm missing something....
