Congratulations to wpbrj, capk81, and hotfire on winning Assorted Triples 18!









This is the eighteenth installment in a series of short triples tournaments.


This tournament will feature 8 teams battling it out in a single-elimination format. All games will be sequential and have automatic deployment.
There will be 3 rounds, with a different map and settings used in each round. No map will be used twice, and the settings will be mixed in order to challenge the participants.
There will be 1 game per round.


In round 1, you will generally find medium-sized maps. It could also be a quirky map; though, if it is, it will be one of the smaller/less complicated ones.
In round 2, you will generally find large maps. Maps with lots of territories, but probably not a lot of quirkiness, will be found here.
In round 3, you will generally find more complicated maps. In this category are included some of the toughest of CC's maps.



For this tournament, the maps and settings we will be using are:
Round 1: Land and Sea --- No Spoils, Chained, Foggy
Round 2: Soviet Union --- Nuclear, Adjacent, Foggy
Round 3: Stalingrad --- Escalating, Unlimited, No Fog

I only count 7 teams as having signed up for this tournament, so it's not actually full to get privileges. You also need to put the player/team list in one of your first posts.

Damn, I came here to update my first post and start creating games, but it turns out I can't.

Nice counting, Night Strike... did you miss me signing up for my own tournament in the second post? It's been updated, so you can't see it now.

No, I counted things correctly (counted them several times too), including your team. If you look closely, WPBRJ's team was not edited into the post until after my post was made, so when my post was made, there were only 7 teams signed up. But I now see you have the 8 teams necessarily and have the privileges, so good luck.

WPBRJ has played in many tournaments of mine, so when he says "in with normal team," I know what he means. Do you remember what his post originally said? I forgot, but it was probably "in with team" or something to that extent.

But I guess he saw that Capk81 wanted in, so he edited his post afterward to include Capk instead of the usual Pearljamrox2.

But never mind; I have received my privileges and this is all behind us, now.

The original post just said "n please". I'm sorry if that normally means he signs up with his whole team. Since I didn't see a list of players, I assumed that it meant he was signing up as an individual with other teammates at random.

Okay, now I understand!

I knew what he meant, but I should not have expected anyone else to.

And I should really be updating my second post before the tourney moves to ongoing.

I'll keep that in mind.
