This is a part of a new series setting down an alternative history of the Iberian peninsula from the German invasion in 409. The course of history will depend on the outcomes of the tournaments.
You will not need premium, but you will need at least three open spot.
show: Backstory
The tribes of the Alans, the Vandals and the Suebi crossed the Pyrenees into Iberia. The Roman citizens, abandoned by their far-away Emperor, had no choice but to subject themselves to their new masters.

show: gameplay
In this tournament the players will be divided into three groups, Alans, Vandals and Suebi. Please specify which tribe you want to belong to. If not specified, I will place you in the Suebi group. Any number of players can join, as long as there is an even number of players in each group. Round 1 will consist of a round-robin, where every player meets every other player in his group once. Note that the number of players in each group might vary, depending on where people sign up. The two best players of each group will then face each other in a best of three match to represent the king of that tribe. I'll be sending out games one at a time. The interval will be a couple of days or so, depending on my schedule. The three kings will then play each other, each king facing each other king twice. If this results in a three-way tie, they will play each-other once more. This continues untill there is a winner.

How many games are sent in round one--a few at a time or all in the group at once?
