"The Hive Tournament" WINNER: artur1

I have decided to make a tournament on the biggest map CC has to offer: Hive.

16 players face off in a 3 round tournament. Who will win?

1st round: 1vs1 single elimination.
2nd round: 8 player free-for-all, top 2 players make it to the last round. (winner and last eliminated)
3rd round: 3 games, the person who wins 2 of the games wins the tournament.

Settings:
Adjacent forts
Fog
No spoils
Automatic

EDIT: Since the round 2 game was taking to long, I decided to have the 6 remaining player face each other. The winner of those are going to the final round. The final round will be the first person to win 2 games.

Are you serious...This tournament will take years to finish..You must be nuts to host a tournament on this map..Not to mention going 1v1 at that..

you will have a hard time finding people who wan to play an 8 player free-for-all in the second round. It's my experience that most regular tournament players would rather play sequential. If you change that then i'm in, but until then no thanks.

Free-for-all does not mean freestyle. It means no teams - you are playing by yourself. I think that it is a given that this tourney is sequential.

That said, I am SO NOT IN. And Nemrehs is not crazy for hosting the tourney; the ones who are playing in it are the crazy ones!

If that is the case then I am in, but putting free-for-all after 8 player game is sort of redundant if that's the case. There is no mention of team play so I assumed he meant an 8 player freestyle game. Again my bad if it is sequential, but you should then change the wording.

Also, you do understand that by making games adj, foggy, and ns that the games are literally going to take months to finish, right?

Yes, but i wanted to try something different
