First time with nukes, but I just could not resist it with this map.

7 up. but some games are dead in the water. 3 turns of failed attacks.. Worst part is, there is a guy who is attacking me only instead of going for bonussess. I have been trying to get for a bonus for 3 turns, and nothing.. he just takes my 3's as if they are not there...

8 up, 1 down. The honour of my demise goes to tokle!!
Also, with more then half my games finished and the others progressing I am going to announce that the BAR is set to 11+.

I am likely to win 3 more games bringing the total to 11. One more game is likely to be lost, but it can be won. The others are toast.
Currently i am expecting Highlander to do well on his 'homemap' and take the win.. although... i just spotted his games and he too has taken a dive in one game... and some others where he needs to open his eyelids a little more to show the radiance i know is within him... or HIM...;-)

prediction.. 11 looks manageable. 12 is dicey, 13 would require an act of god, lack or HA.. ;-)

I am thinking this map is clearly showing the veterans on Arms Race...

Still, lads and ladies, get to bed early, rise even sooner and kill those buggers!!!..lol

regards,
SirSebstar

up 9, down 2. 4 to go
1 loss and 1 more win expected. 2 games in the balance...
So i am calling the outright winner with 12. (But I dont know who that is yet)

It will be who the dice gods want it to be.

But I do want you in the next one. Different type of RR but it will be fun.

No problems. Got to get the specs right on the next one and get permission for some things. As soon as it is sorted it will be up on the board. Will send you an invite to join as I will need you if it all pans out. Will take that long just to iron out the bugs.

will do!

also 11 up, 3 down. and expecting the last one to fail as well due to 16-8 fail dice..

so 12 takes home the gold(over me)

its final, I am stuck on 11-4...

Also, Koontz, if you are going to provide an update, could you include the win AND loss numbers? That way i can see how many games actually need to be played(by each player)

Have done. The first update was to early for that as not every player had begun games.

Full update is out now.

This is what I see:

I need to win my games left which are well in hand.

SirSebstar and I will finish with 11 wins but I beat him
ckyrias can finish with 11 and I have beat him
So as long as shoop finishes off brett2000 giving him his fifth loss I would win the tourney

Now if brett2000 wins some crazy way (by looking at the current situation) We could have a 4 way tie with no clear winner and have a playoff.

negative, if 2 players have the lead, then the win among them is looked at. if there are 3 or more leaders then there is another playoff.

That is not right--if there is no clear winner then a playoff is needed. If three or more players tie and one player has beaten all the players involved that is a clear winner and they should not be penalized.

if more than two are tied, a second round play off will be started until a clear winner is found.

This is worded funny if you ask me and should be clarified. I believe in pm's from past tourneys this was discussed. It looks like it will not be an issue in this tourney, but it will come up and should be clearly stated. In our discussions from previous tourneys we discussed the scenario of three or more tied with one player beating all the others in the first round--this made a clear winner. Although you list clear winner, you state more than two tied.

If two players are tied the player that won the 1v1 match wins the tourney--if multiple players are tied and there is no clear head to head winner -all the players will play another round robin.

This is your tourney and you run them the way you want. I am pretty sure we discussed the clear winner. Luckily for me the more than three players will not come into effect for this one. I am leaving you the wording in my round robin tourney so you can add it to yours (if you want to ) for future tourneys. To me if there is a clear winner that has beaten all the other players that are tied --they should win. Just my opinion. I hope you take this as a suggestion and not a demand. Just trying to help. Another fun tourney. Glad to get lucky and win it for sure.

I am obviously trying to argue my case HA, but today it looks like i just bombed out. You have another notch, as it looks like..

Over the whole and this in particular, just know I respect you are a person and a CCplayer with good faith.
I concur with the suggestion that for the next tournament, the rule could be made slightly clearer.

all in all, quite amusing

Guys, sorry for not looking in on thread but have been very busy with work and kiddies school show tonight.

Let me clarafy the three way ending which will need a play off.

3 players A-B-C on 12 wins.

A beats B and C. A wins. Same with B and C if they beat the other 2 in there game.

If A beats B
B beats C
C beats A

No one has the overall advantage as all 3 win one game and lose one. No overall winner can be declared.

It does become more complicated if 4 or more players are involved but it is the same principle.

Rest assured that if it does come down to a play off, I will consult all players involved before setting anything up. The last thing I want is for any player to go away from one of my tournaments thinking they were cheated in any way.

As this is getting down to the wire I will PM all player tonight when I get back from my kids play with a full update on scores and what will happen if a play off is needed and who might be involved. Expect it in around 7 hours from this message.

I had the rule that HighlanderAttack and SirSebstar are talking about in the first one (Macedonia Madness) but was advised to simplify it by one of the players. I will now try to re word it so this does not happen in the future as I do enjoy the RR style of tournaments over the 1v1 type.
