This is my first time hosting a tournament, so it shall be a fairly simple one. There will be 16 players. Once everyone has joined I will use random.org to select who battles who. In round 1, players will battle the same opponent twice, simultaneously, on random map, sequential, manual, sunny, flat rate, chained. If either player wins both of the matches, they advance to the next round, while the person who lost both is eliminated. If each player wins 1 game, they will both stay in round 1, and face new opponents. This process will continue until 8 players have successfully swept an opponent. Then the whole process will start again in round two.
When there are only two players remaining, they shall play a best of 7 series with the same game mode to decide who is the champion of the tournament.
This tournament will be open to both premium and freemium members, and there will be no restriction on rank. Freemium members will need to keep two slots open at all times. Please post on this thread if you are interested. I will be taking two reserves also.
