The Era: Discovery (1v1) (Winner: ScootChina)

This is the third in a series of 8 1v1 tournaments across 8 Eras of human history. Each tournament will be run independently and signing up for 1 does not commit you to any of the others. Premium only please.
In Decline, you saw the decline of western civilization with the fall of the Roman Empire and it's gradual rebirth through the Middle Ages. In Discovery, you will experience the rise of Europe as a global power with the discovery of new and uncharted lands, the subjugation of the native people, and the exploitation of those lands.
This tournament will feature 32 players. At signup, select which group you would like to be in based on the map for that group. Each group will feature 4 players and will be a round robin for a total of 3 games for each player in the first round. Any ties will be broken by whomever WON their matchups in the fewest rounds total (if on the off chance this does not decide the winner then the winner of their matchup advances). The winner of each group will then advance to an 8 player single elimination bracket (matchups will be determined randomly). Each matchup (including the finals) will be 3 games, and will consist of one game on each group winner's map and a random map from the same Era.
All games will use the following settings: Auto, Sequential, Escalating, Chained, Foggy, No Trench, and each game will have a limit of 30 rounds.
