Title: 30-GLG Haywood Jablomie Memorial
Type: Assassin 8 person - 16 total
Topic: Haywood Jablomie, we miss you, man

Round 1 Finals: Uckuki wins with 2 wins -- in 7 total rounds; windy81 was second with 2 wins -- in 14 rounds tho

Uckuki takes over first with: 2 wins, 1 win in 5.1 round other in 6th - to lose, someone else would have to win 2 matches in less rds
Pridekiller in second with: 1 win in 2nd round. will take a better win or more wins to beat that.
westbo in third with: 1 win in the 5.7 round
MATHMATICALLY ELIMINATED?: celliottii, Deng Xiao Ping, dgkb99, General Bax, rmjw10, ScootChina, Silly Knig-it, traffic133

* harder to win LATE in the round after drop/fort than early in the round. Standard GLG

Background: COFxxx - when I think of HJ, I recall:
-coffee: it always seems like he was drinking something from Starbucks
-coffer: it always seemed like his coffers were empty
-coffle: it always seemed like he was tied into a group of others
-coffin: it seems he may have passed -- haven't seen him in years

So based on that, there are 4 divisions you can sign up for -- that will be cross pooled with others for 3 games each

and no, I am not kidding about allowing you to join my mini-tournaments. I've let several detractors in including MB and others. Well, i thunk about it and decided to add this to RESERVATION criteria:

If you don't reply by 16 limit, the next one will have different "Memorial XXXxxx". Ones I'm considering include:
-BENchs, BENder, BENgal, BENumb
-MANner, MANchu, MANage, MANchet
. . .a whole series for my buddy -- similar to the ones I began hosting for my friend HighlanderAttack.

Or does it bother you that I memorialize my buddy Haywood, one of the first people I played regularly here? I've had many of my mini-tourneys with Featured Players: BOOM BOOM, dazerazer, Phatscotty. Now if you want me to host a "Chariot of Fire" tourney, you'd have bury the hatchet, man.

Oh, and it was NOT my preference to abbreviate Subject as "classic ass". I had Classic Assassin, etc. but Tourney mods contacted me to shorten/abbreviate. Ass was NOT intended to be negative about my buddy Haywood. Oh, and ". . .Ass (open)" will soon change to ". . .Ass (finals)", etc.

There is no reference to CoF and a period for Assassin's abbreviation.

This here is my point. I highly doubted that any Director would tell him to shorten "Classic Assassin" to "Classic Ass". GLG is again attempting to twist the truth, and I won't have him using the Tournament Team to do it.

I had a name that was too long for Posting as Tournament -- so they asked me to shorten it. I guessed "Classic Assassin" in my attempt to QUICKLY REPLY. whatever it was THEY asked me to abbreviate -- then OK'd the change. AND yes, it has a . after ass. for Assassin. JEEZ

Of course it is nonsense - anyone can see what he has done here. Plus one only has to look at the titles of his previous assassin tourneys to determine how he usually phrases them.

This was deliberate, plain and simple (not that I really care, coz there's enough opinion/evidence about who the real 'assassin' is)

I meant that the offical tournament title has no reference to Chariot of Fire. Obviously, the title of this thread does and should be changed to the actual title. And although I said '30-GLG Haywood Jablomie Memorial - Classic Ass.' would work, I would prefer if the title were changed so that assassin is not abbreviated.
