Fantastic Flanders!
STANDINGS:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... CUkE#gid=6
This tournament will feature mixed game types all on one of my favorite maps, Flanders 1302! There will be standard, terminator, assassin, and team games in this tournament (No 1v1s!). You want to collect as many points as possible to advance through each stage of the tournament. Points DO carry over, however point values increase as the tourney progresses. In the finals, all points will be reset! The player with the most victories in the Finals will win the tournament (points only used in case of tie).
The only requirement is that you must have premium membership (very sorry!), all games will be played simultaneously, so you can expect 5 games at a time (6 if you make the finals)
Here is the tournament layout, points are awarded in each game, each game type has an equal amount of possible points
Stage 1
36 players - Each player will play 5 games:
*1 Doubles - Winning team members each get 2 points.
*1 Triples - Winning team members each get 2 points.
*1 Standard - 4 player. Winning player gets 4 points.
*1 Terminator - 6 player. 1 point per termination, 1 additional point for winner.
*1 Assassin - 3 player. Winning player gets 3 points (even in case of incorrect assassin, winning player still gets 3).
Top 24 players advance to Stage 2
Stage 2 (Points carry over from Stage 1)
24 Players - Point values are doubled - 5 games per player:
*1 Doubles - Winning team members each get 4 points.
*1 Triples - Winning team members each get 4 points.
*1 Standard - 4 player. Winning player gets 8 points.
*1 Terminator - 6 player. 2 points per termination, 2 additional points for winner.
*1 Assassin - 3 player. Winning player gets 6 points
Top 12 point totals (Stages 1 & 2) advance to Stage 3
Stage 3
12 Players - Point values doubled again - 5 games per player:
*1 Doubles - Winning team members each get 8 points.
*1 Triples - Winning team members each get 8 points.
*1 Standard - 4 player. Winning player gets 16 points.
*1 Terminator - 6 player. 4 points per termination, 4 additional points for winner.
*1 Assassin - 3 player. Winning player gets 12 points
Top 6 players advance (Stages 1, 2, & 3 combined)
Finals
6 Players - Points RESET - 6 games (all 6 player), Most WINS this round will win the tournament:
*2 Standard
*2 Terminator
*2 Assassin
**Player with most wins out of the 6, wins the tournament. If there is a tie, the total amount of points from Stages 1-3 will be used to decide the winner. If still tied, a single game will be played between tied players.
Universal Settings
Doubles games - No Spoils, chained, foggy,
Triples - No Spoils, chained, foggy,
Standard games - Escalating, chained, no fog,
Terminator games - Flat Rate, chained, no fog
Assassin games - Escalating, chained, yes fog
[All games - Sequential, 20 round limit]
***For games that reach the round limit, the winning player(team) will take all remaining available points, regardless of game type.
Tiebreakers
If any players are tied for the final advancing slot(s) in a given stage, all tied players will play in 1 standard game with escalating spoils and no fog, on the Flanders map. If 3 players are tied, the game will be assassin, instead of standard. Tiebreaking games do not count towards your point value, they simply determine the placement of tied players.
If any complex tiebreaking scenarios arise (i.e. more than 8 players) I will determine a fair solution where all concerned players play the same number/type of games.
You will get 2 invites to join each game, failure to join after 2 invites will result in replacement by a reserve (stage 1) or replacement by the highest scoring eliminated player (stage 2 and on). If this happens, the replacing player will inherit the deadbeating players points.
You will be placed randomly into each game by random.org. There are no groups, I will randomize the player pool for each game type.
Player List
I hope this all made sense, if anything is unclear or if you have questions, please ask!!!!
