The Ramones were an American rock band that formed in the New York City neighborhood of Forest Hills, Queens, in 1974. They are often cited as the first punk rock group.
Despite achieving only limited commercial success, the band was a major influence on the punk rock movement both in the United States and the United Kingdom.
All of the band members adopted pseudonyms ending with the surname "Ramone", though none of them were related. They performed 2,263 concerts, touring virtually nonstop for 22 years. In 1996, after a tour with the Lollapalooza music festival, the band played a farewell concert and disbanded. By a little more than eight years after the breakup, the band's three founding membersālead singer Joey Ramone, guitarist Johnny Ramone, and bassist Dee Dee Ramoneāhad died.
Their only record with enough U.S. sales to be certified gold was the compilation album Ramones Mania. However, recognition of the band's importance built over the years, and they are now cited in many assessments of all-time great rock music, such as the Rolling Stone list of the 50 Greatest Artists of All Time[8] and VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock.[9] In 2002, the Ramones were ranked the second-greatest band of all time by Spin magazine, trailing only The Beatles. On March 18, 2002, the Ramonesāincluding the three founders and drummers Marky and Tommy Ramoneāwere inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 2011, the group was awarded a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

AC/DC (estilizado ACĻDC) es un grupo australiano de hard rock y heavy metal formado en la ciudad de SĆdney en 1973 por los hermanos de origen escocĆ©s Malcolm y Angus Young.
Su primer concierto se llevĆ³ a cabo la noche de fin de aƱo de 1973, coincidiendo con el lanzamiento de su sencillo Can I Sit Next to You Girl, cuyo cantante era Dave Evans.
Desde el principio se hicieron famosas sus actuaciones en directo, gracias en parte al extravagante estilo de su guitarrista principal, Angus Young, generalmente vestido con uniforme de colegial en los conciertos. En 1976, coincidiendo con el lanzamiento del disco Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, se trasladaron a Gran BretaƱa, de donde procedĆan los hermanos Young, concretamente de ascendencia escocesa, e inmediatamente ocuparon los primeros puestos de ventas con discos como Let There Be Rock (1977) y Powerage (1978), a los que siguieron If You Want Blood You've Got It (1978) y el disco Highway to Hell (1979), del que se vendieron millones de copias. El nacimiento de LeƱo se remonta, probablemente, al 31 de diciembre de 1977, tras una discusiĆ³n de los componentes de la primera formaciĆ³n del grupo Ću antes de comenzar un concierto. Dice la leyenda que uno de los componentes de Ću , Rosendo Mercado, pronunciĆ³ las palabras: "Chico, hasta aquĆ hemos llegado...". La relaciĆ³n de amor-odio entre Rosendo y JosĆ© Carlos Molina, el Molina, queda patente hasta en el origen del nombre del nuevo grupo formado por Rosendo "las canciones que haces son un leƱo, tĆo" decĆa JosĆ© Carlos de las composiciones de Rosendo para Ću
Aunque JosĆ© Carlos cuenta otra versiĆ³n "Bueno, LeƱo lo formĆ© yo, y el nombre me lo inventĆ© yo. Y es que cada vez que hacĆa una canciĆ³n heavy, como la introducciĆ³n de "Este Madrid", que es mĆa, Rosendo decĆa "Ā”vaya leƱo de canciĆ³n que has hecho!". Empezaron bromeando y al final decidieron llamarse LeƱo, no querĆa Rosendo perder la "Ʊ" por ningĆŗn lado.
Solo unos dĆas despuĆ©s se creĆ³ plenamente el grupo. Con un viejo amigo del grupo Fresa (anterior nombre de Ću), Chiqui Mariscal, y el ex-baterĆa de Coz (grupo del que despuĆ©s saldrĆa otro grupo de los ochenta llamado BarĆ³n Rojo) debutan en la sala AlcalĆ” Palace el 12 de febrero como teloneros de Asfalto, con cuatro temas propios.
