The World League of American Football was a spring developmental league that ran for two seasons back in 1991 & 1992. The league would later rebrand as NFL Europe.
Choose your team with a home map and settings. All games will be 1v1 and each 'match' will be a best of 3 to decide the game winner. You will play 12 matches over a 14 week schedule (2 bye weeks). Every game will have a 20 round limit imposed. You will play the other teams in your division home and away and have some cross-division and
cross-conference games thrown in to make the shedule up to 12 matches. The German division has more teams in it so they will play less cross games than the other divisions as a result of having 2 extra divisional games to play.
This tournament includes all 17 teams who competed within the two leagues split into two conferences, the Americas and Europe. There are two divisions within each conference. Winning your division guarantees a play-off spot. Next best 2 teams will also qualify for the play-offs with the winners of Americas playing the winner of Europe in the World Bowl.
Play-off teams will be seeded by their regular season record, higher seed has home map advantage. Head to head record then games won in event of a tie.
The World Bowl will also be a best of 3 with a game on each of the competing players maps and a random map.
