This is the 2nd tournament of 8 before the Championships of the CC Billiards Tour sometime in the spring. Winners of certain tournaments in the series plus others based on ranking throughout the season will be invited to the Championships as well as it being open to anyone. More information about the season of tournaments at the bottom of this post.
-=Rio de Janeiro Open =- The Rio de Janeiro Open is the second stop on the World Tour 2011-2012. Anyone may join in, including freemiums. However, freemiums must commit to having 3 spots open at all times. Games will be sent out 3 at a time.
This tournament is a Championships Qualifier - the winner of this tournament will win a spot directly into the Round of 16 of the Tour Championships. Therefore, this tournament is Double-Elimination.
DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION: Wednesday, September 28th, 6pm Central Time US OR 80 entrants. (deadline limits are subject to change)
Each round of play is based on Billiards matches, which is a race to be the first to win a certain number of games. I will count wins in real time, so the first person to win the required number of games in their match will win the match, no matter the results after the official win.
Seeding for this tournament will be determined first by rank on the CCBT Season Standings Chart, and then by CC Score at close of registration for those who have not played in a CCBT tournament before this one. -Since the first tournament of the season is not yet complete - I will rank players first by whether they made it to the Round of 16 in Sydney first (then by their CC score), then by players who signed up for Sydney and played(then CC score), and then CC score for all player who did not play in Sydney.
Qualification Rounds: TBA based on number of entrants.
Round of 64: (if needed) Winner of each match-up will be the first player to win a race to 3 game wins. Round of 32: (if needed) Winner of each match-up will be the first player to win a race to 5 game wins. Round of 16: Winner of each match-up will be the first player to win a race to 7 game wins. Quarterfinals: Winner of each match-up will be the first player to win a race to 11 game wins. Semifinals: Winner of each match-up will be the first player to win a race to 11 game wins. Finals: Winner will be the first player to win a race to 13 game wins.
Winner will also receive a bye to the Round of 16 in one future tournament this season, excluding the Championships.

After losing in seminfinals to Marshallbobby blonderic comes back from a second chance and wins this turny over a previous winer from this event and proves that there are other masters in DOODLING !!!
