Can you master Circus Maximus? Once mastered, can you defend it from a group of challengers? This tournament will be a 16-player satellite tournament for the Master Your Map mega tournament. The winner of this tournament will be granted an automatic bid into the final Master Your Map: Challenge the Masters tournament with both first and second round byes.
Participants in this tournament will be randomly placed into 4-player groups. The tournament will consist of 5 stages. Stages 1 through 4 will correspond to different settings groups. Each group of players will play 5 games in each stage with the winner of each game receiving a single point. At the end of Stage 4, the points leader in each group will advance to Stage 5. The four players remaining in Stage 5 will then play two games on each settings group to determine the tournament winner.
