WINNERS: FC Dallas — gromph, The Crown, ViperOverLord

Standings are listed below, along with season stat leaders under that and the scoreboards for the last two week's worth of games below that.
Here's some more typing to push the images below the Conquer Club medals and such...and a little more typing, etc.
I plan to upload fresh google docs to show the season schedule for each team along with expanded stats.
Also, note on the scoring fields games are final once the #s turn yellow...white #s mean the game still has ongoing maps.

TOURNEY DESCRIPTION:
* Portland is moving into Major League Soccer this year, and I'm fired up, so what better way to celebrate the Timbers rookie season than to match it on Conquer Club.
This is a team format (3 players per franchise) tournament that will follow the 2011 Major League Soccer season.
FORMAT: 3 players per franchise
PLAY STYLE: Mostly 1 vs. 1 play along with a 3 vs. 3 team map for each match
FREEBIES?: Yes, but must keep 2 slots open
DURATION: The season starts March 15 and finishes with the playoffs in late-October/early-November.
FORFEITS: Players will have 48 hours to join their maps before receiving one reminder...after another 24 hours team captains will be contacted about making a replacement from the reserves list.
• The MLS will expand to 18 teams this season (see team list at bottom)
Each MLS franchise will be represented by three CC players, so find a couple teammates and sign-up or take your chances and sign up as an individual, although preference will be given to pre-formed teams.
• The season —
The regular season will follow the true MLS schedule with games going out to teams on the same day as their real-life counterparts (or as close as possible). The league plays a 34-game regular season schedule. Teams earn three points in the standings for each win and one point for each tie. The league typically plays once a week, but some weeks will have two matches.
• Playoffs
The top three finishers in each conference reach the playoffs and earn a bye into the quarterfinals.
The remaining four best teams will play a pair of wildcard qualifier matches.
The Quarterfinals will be an aggregate goal home-and-away match.
The semifinals are single-match showdowns played at the home fields of the two higher seeded teams.
The MLS Cup championship is a single match played on a neutral field. We’ll use home maps for each team, along with a mix of four random maps to replicate the neutral site.
• Game breakdown
Each team plays with a 3-4-3 alignment...
Team A’s backline vs. Team Bs forwards (3 maps)
Team A’s midfielders vs. Team Bs midfielders (4 maps)
Team As forwards vs. Team Bs backline (3 maps)
Goaltenders will be a 3-on-3 team map
• Scoring…
Players will get rated on their performance from 0 to 3
Win in 7 rounds or fewer…3
Win in 8-12 rounds…2
Win in 13+ rounds…1
Lose the game…0
Goalie: Winning teams gets +1 for their goalie; Losing team is set to -1. Losing team will be set to 0 if they are able to eliminate at least one opposing player.
To earn "star" status, you must be...
+10 (March-May)
+20 (June-July)
+30 (August-end of season)
Forwards vs. Backline is self-explanatory.
A team builds its attack by winning the midfield. Whichever side gets an edge in the center will have those points added to their forwards’ score. The losing midfield adds nothing to its attack.
Here’s a scoring example along with a graphic that will be used to show game play. Basically, all 11 players are represented on the field. Win your map to gain an edge in your part of the field, work together with your teammates to build enough of an advantage to create scoring opportunities.
Timbers attack Dynamo attack —
Forwards gain +1 Forwards gain +4
Midfield advantage = +4 No midfield advantage
Total attack = +5 Total attack = +4
Match each team’s attack against the opposing goalie to come up with final numbers.
Timbers +5 against Dynamo goalie -1 = Timbers +6 performance points
Dynamo +4 against Timbers goalie +1 = Dynamo +3 performance points
Teams score one goal for every 3 full performance points…thus the Timbers win this game 2-1.
• Star players:
Statistics will be kept for each team throughout the season, including each players’ total performance points. A player with a ranking of +10 or better will earn “star” status. Star players score a bonus point when they win a map.
Goalie maps (triples games — escalating, chained, sunny...maps switch every two weeks during the year)
SIGN-UPS –
Sequential turns are required, the other settings are up to you.
Teams listed below – 3 players per franchise.
Each player chooses their own home map and settings to be used for their unit of players.
Franchises must use three different maps – no repeats within the same team.
I also ask that each team designate one player to be team captain…so I have someone to contact if concerns arise during the season.
*Open - means this team is looking for singles to fill out the roster
*Red letters - Players with manual deploy
