This tournament is based on the Indoor Athletics International Match which took place in Glasgow, Scotland on January 30th 2010.
Premium only please, with 97% attendance or above.
All games will be:
5-player
Standard
Sequential
Automatic
Escalating
Chained
Sunny
There are 3 stages in this tournament. 125 players will play in Round 1, 25 will play in Round 2 and 5 will play in the Final Round.
ROUND 1
There will be 5 divisions of 25 players - 5 players representing each team in their division.
Each 5-player game will consist of one player from each team. Opponents will be assigned using random.org.
Points will be assigned: 5 points for a win, 4 points for 2nd place, 3 points for 3rd, 2 points for 4th and 1 point for 5th.
Deadbeating will be considered as Disqualification from the event and will result in 0 points for that game.
Please note: In an "objective game" such as Oasis, if a player wins by the objective, the remaining points will be shared between the remaining players. For example, in Game 6675186, Aalmeida17 won by objective before anyone else was eliminated. Therefore, Aalmeida17 gets 5 points, and each of the other players gets 2.5 points ((4+3+2+1)/4).
Within each division, each team's scores are added together and compared against the other teams. The teams then receive Team Points in the same manner.
Everyone will play 17 games (see the list of maps below) - the Team Points will be added up and the Top Team from each Division will go through to Round 2.
ROUND 2
Each winning team will play against themselves as individuals on the same 17 maps as Round 1.
The player in each team with the highest score will go through to the Grand Final.
FINAL ROUND
The Final 5 players play against each other in the same way as in Round 2.
The player with the highest score at the end of the Final Round will be declared the winner!
