Amazing website...! Thanks Lackattack. And your recent improvements are significant!

Have you ever thought about 18 hour-long turns? :) So you can play in the evening and the next morning whatever happens...

Thanks a lot for this game: it's magic!

more meber stuff

Postby cheerios rule on Thu Sep 21, 2006 5:26 am

This is a great website. But, the problem is there are not alot of advantages for members. I would suggest some meber only maps, orspeacial things in the game. Thanks for creating this wonderful game.

We are all members here. If you mean paying member, I think you are being selfish. A lot of the kids around here can't afford the $20 and this should not be a reason for them to miss out on anything that Lack does.

BTW - I like the updates, all of them. Please make the dice bigger though, they hurt my eyes.

1. Great job Lack on the updates. I think they made a great game even better. The do-or-die button was a long time coming, and worth the wait.

2. As a premium member, I think bogusbet got it right by saying cheerios is being selfish. Speaking for myself of course, I did not go premium just for the unlimited, and private games. I did it for the third reason.

and there are some school aged children, who cannot afford to be , or do not have the resources to become premium here who should not be denied any aspect of this wonderful website.

Thanks Lack as always, keep the good times a coming.

Coug

I'm new to the forum.

I noticed after the new update, Firefox doesn't have the status images to show whose turn it is and if there are players currently playing.

w3a2

it didn't for me at first but does now.

restart your browser

There's still black dots in my firefox, been around a couple of days now with lots of restarts. Running on apple, may that be the problem. On opera it shows alright.

I admit that when I opened my games and I couldnt see the number of cards or the number of units I was a little bit owned. But now I see a high quality website. You lackattack continue changing and improving your work. That´s impressive, If it was me, I would stopped long time ago.

The updates are great but I have a question. My browser(Firefox) is now having some problems displaying some info. I no longer see the players rank insignia beside there names. Also the play status buttons(green dot,red square, yellow triangle) are now represented by just black dots. I have resorted to using my old browser(Internet explorer) to view it correctly. Any suggestions/help would be great :D

I have a fix, get rid of it.

Or make it so you need an army advantage to use it.

Update

Postby mickhel on Fri Sep 22, 2006 3:49 pm

I love the new chat, visual dice and auto-attack. I do see a small bug though, it kinda shows your cards twice when you do dice rolls.

what do you have against it
it is just like if you pushed attack 50 times but in one click
it is nothing different just a little faster

Okay, I've updated the dice to make them non-annoying

You should hit the refresh button (F5) on the game screen once again.

Also got rid of the "screen jump".

I made massive auto-attacks 10x faster so they won't kill the server as much, and made progress reducing the nightly freeze-up cause by the backup process. There is still a lot of work to be done to reduce random freeze-ups, however.

Glad to see that vertical dice text I saw wasn't permanent. Too much scrolling.

with auto-attack could there be a place to choose when i wanted the autoattaack so stop instead of 3?

ex:
i have 30 armies agains 20 but instead of risking being killed down to 3 armies, i want to be able to have a little selection thing where i could choose when my auto-attack stops (like stop when i have 10 armies left on the country)

then we wouldnt have to worry about risking auto-attack even if the army numbers involved are very large.

Priority:4

Edit: does this belong in the suggestion forum?
