I am a new player to this site, but having been a Risk fan for most of my life (like everyone else here) I have a new interest. I have just discovered the Risk 2210 game and a supporting website that offers many ideas and variants to the original. I was wondering if it would be possible to create one or all of the following map ideas:

1) Scorched Earth - The basic Risk 2210 map with a feature of the game play where 3 random territories are devastated (cannot cross or occupy)

2) Global Warming - Again the Risk 2210 set up, with the added Antarctica area, and then at some set point (round 5 or 6) the map changes to reflect global warming. I was thinking this would have to be 2 maps, and the server automatically loads the 2nd map and fills in the units into the remaining territories they occupied from the previous map. I don't know if this would be possible.

3) TerraLuna - Risk 2210 map of course, but with a second loadable map that shows the moon territories. I don't know if it would be possible to have the two linked so that units could move from one map to the other.

I am neither programmer nor artist, just a guy with some ideas. Comments, critiques, and advice welcome!

we already have one global warming map, but i like that idea. it would be interesting, but sounds hard to do

i don't think the other 2 maps are possible because of copyright laws though

I am interested in the programming issue, can a second map be loaded on the meeting of an objective or a trigger?

No, it's not possible to create maps with two separate images.
