I thought with some modifications, could this be turned into a 1v1 map? (so there will be 2 versions, 1v1 and multi player map)

THat is very easy. Using the positions, I can programme 2 only with players getting only 1. This would mean in a 1v1 game, both players would start at opposite ends and in larger games, everyone would start everywhere. It is the same thing as my knights map.
