Map Name: Rock Paper Scissors 25
Mapmaker(s): Dibbun
Number of Territories: 25
Special Features: It's rock paper scissors!
What Makes This Map Worthy of Being Made: A minute to learn, a lifetime to master...

Basically each territory can 1-way attack 12 territories and can be 1-way attacked by 12 territories. I can see this being an outstanding 8-player assassin map.

I would sprinkle in various interesting "regional" bonuses..

Alien + Moon = UFO Bonus
Sun + Devil = Arizona Bonus
Monkey + Man = Evolution Bonus

I can even add in a victory condition, such as holding a territory and all 12 territories it can attack. This would make for some frantic 1v1 play.

This game does actually exist, so I'd have to get permission, but want to see if it's feasible first. If approved, the graphics would be largely unchanged, unless that was a problem then I'd seek a graphics partner, and I would do the XML coding myself.

My first thought is... Looks horribly convoluted and hard to follow.

Agree with this. Quite hard to follow quickly with all the arrows and trying to know what beats (attacks) what.

Although, I do like the circular layout and the game idea. I would play this map if it in. It could be left as is, but the lines everywhere are just a little hard to follow.

following the lines would indeed pose a problem but am i the only one that's bothered by the symmetry?

You have every element assautling anti-clockwise:
1. to the next six elements - cockroach assaults from 1 wolf to 7 air.
2. the eight element (bowl) from cockroach is left alone by cockroach
3. then cockroach assaults elements 9 water to 13 nuke.

The graphics...gees, you'd have to do major adjustments for the CC community to understand it.
Good luck.

Well for all I know Dibbun is David C. Lovelace.

But if it's not his own work and he doesn't have permission to use it, then that's it for this idea.

he's not otherwise he wouldn't have said he needs to get permission in the first post:

I am not connected to its drawing or conception in any way.

[Moved]

It would appear that development of this map has stalled. If the mapmaker wants to continue with the map, then one of the Foundry Moderators will be able to help put the thread back into the Foundry system, after an update has been made. ;-)
