Jugoslavija (anachronic, with many overlaping bonuses)

First of all, sorry for the long thread name, but I felt a need to explain why I'm proposing another Yugoslavia map while one is already being made.
Second, this is the first map I’ve ever tried to make. I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to tackle with the XML. Although I have some (little) experience working in Photoshop, I won’t be able to do the graphics myself.
OK, now let’s get to the idea itself. Yugoslavia’s various divisions at different times was what inspired me to try to make a map where many bonus regions overlap, but
their worth is not determined by their size. Now, you may think at first that gameplay on such a map would be heavily imbalanced, but… I’m not stupid; of course I found ways to balance it, though it will require much work to make it really balanced. Here’s just a very rough graphic representation of my idea. Terts marked with yellow are capitals o SFRY republic and start of 3 neutral. Belgrade starts 6 neutral. Since Macedonia looked to strong and easy to hold, I thought about making the land dominantly inhabited by Albanians start as neutral. So terts # 37, 38 and 39 (maybe 45 as well) start with 3 neutral each. In order to make the middle of the map more interesting, I decided to take a step beyond Yugo and added bonuses for the Bosnian entities.
Bonuses• Capitals: +1 autodeploy
• Belgrade: +3 autodeploy
• SFRY republics: +3
• Kingdom of Yugoslavia banovine: +2
• Less than countries: +1 for one, +3 for 2, +7 for all three
I’m sleepy now. I will explain further tomorrow.

Yesterday there were many parts I skipped on purpose or accidentally + there are some things I've changed my mind about.
Neutrals
• Capitals: 3
• Belgrade: 6
• terts # 37, 38, 39 & 45: 1
• terts # 4 & 5: 3
Bonuses
Autodeploy
• Capitals: +1 autodeploy
• Belgrade: +3 autodeploy
• terts # 37, 38, 39 and 45: -1 autodeploy
Continents
• Kingdom of Serbia and State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs: +7
• SFRY republics: +3
• Kingdom of Yugoslavia banovine: +2
• Less than countries: +1
Special
• Keep it!: +2
• Clean it!: +5
• Separatist: +2
• Secession apprentice: +4
• Secessionist: +7
Big bonuses never override smaller ones, except for special bonuses!
Explanation
I think for capitals there isn't much to explain. All get +1 auto, only Belgrade gets +3 (+1 for being capital of Serbia, +1 SFRY and +1 Kingdom). Belgrade has a 3x better bonus, but only 2x more neutrals in order to make that part of the map more wanted.
Territories 37-39 & 45 are inhabited by Albanians who are ofc not South Slavs so they rebel each turn decaying one troop. When you look at the map of SFRY, and then at the bonuses here, it is obvious that Macedonia, Montenegro and Slovenia are better than others. So the Albanians solve the Macedonian and Montenegrin issue. Which leaves Slovenia. Terts 4&5 weren't part of the first Yugo, they were a part of Italy then, so they start with three neutral acting as the Italian army.
The first Yugoslavia wasn't created by uniting all the terts at once. First there were Kingdom of Serbia(terts #23-45) and State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs(terts #1-22) which united to create the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. I don't think there is need to explain what the SFRY republics are, since it is the same as today's countries.
Here is a list of banovine:
Dravska: 1-3
Savska: 6-11, 21
Primorska: 14, 15, 17
Vrbaska: 12, 13
Drinska: 19, 20, 27
Zetska: 16, 18, 41-45, 39
Dunavska: 22-25, 28, 29
Moravska: 30-32, 40
Vardarska: 33-38
The later created Banovina Hrvtaska: Savska, Primorska, 16
Less than countries are Vojvodina(23-25), Kosmet(38-40), Republic of Srpska(12,18,20) and FBiH(13,17,19).
To achieve the Keep it! bonus you should hold Belgrade and Kosmet (26,38-40). It's of course about Belgrade's government's struggle to keep Kosovo a part of Yugoslavia/Serbia.
Clean it! is achieved by holding Belgrade, Albanian and Italian terts (26,37-39,45,4,5). It's about getting all non-South Slavs out of Yugoslavia. This bonus does not override Keep it!
For Separatist bonus you have to hold any 2 separatist regions, which include all Less than countries and the Italian area. FBiH+Srpska is not a valid combination. For secession apprentice you have to hold any 3 separatist regions, but without the capital of the country they are in. That disqualifies FBiH as a possible region in for this bonus. It overrides the Separatist bonus. The Secessionist bonus requires all 4 separatist regions (FBiH excluded ofc), but you can't hold any capital. It overrides Secession apprentice.

I know that, but this is different. AS you can see, this map would have much much more bonuses. And that is actually the point of the map. Though now that I look at it, I think more regions wouldn't hurt either.
Well, anyway, thanks for trying to spare me the trouble, but I did write in my first post that I know about the other Yugoslavia map.

Hey, it's worth a shot. The fact that there is another one has nothing to do with it. If it is unique in some way, it's still worth doing. More power to ya!

Ahoj slovansky brate!
Wars always sound as a good idea for a CC map, but no. There would be a bunch of Serbs, Croats, Bosniaks... complaining about everything every step of the way, I'm sure of it. Another thing is that it couldn't have so many various bonuses.
I would really like to make this map, but I can't really do much before someone agrees to help me with the graphics. All I can do now is lay out more ideas about the map.
Oh, yeah about the State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs, it includes terts 1-22
without 4 and 5, since those belonged to Italy.
Here's another idea, but I'm not sure about it. You know those recently popular 2-part maps? So in this map there could be the part with normal terts, and another separate part where you unlock groups of bonuses. Then, there would have to be starting positions on that other part. So for example, the 2. part would have 8 starting positions, 3 SFRY locks which unlock the SFRY republic bonuses, 3 Kingdom locks, which unlock the banovine and State of SCS and Kingdom of Serbia bonuses, 2 separation locks for Less than countries, Separatist, Secession apprentice and Secessionist, 2 unification locks for Keep it! Clean it! and maybe some additional bonuses like:
• 3 capitals: +2
• 4 capitals: +4
• 5 capitals: +6
• all 6 capitals: +10
Separation and unification locks make each other obsolete.
What do you think about the idea?

I like the separatist idea. it needs any draft - just quick and "by hand"...
