wow. just wow.
you're american trying to do a map about washington state and yet you completely misspell everything on the map.

"whashingOton"
impassibles
"they" instead of "the"
"whight oad" this is a tricky one. i think it's supposed to be "white road"... but there's no white road on the map

PS: the map has potential since there are so many americans playing CC. the only problem is that you'll need to improve the graphics a lot.

I actually like the first one better. Your lines are really thick on this, they only need to be about 3 pixels max for width.

Maybe someone will revive the Seattle map idea too, and then we'll really have a map of the area at every conceivable zoom level.

Is there really a need for a full on Washington state map? Tisha covered the most interesting area gameplay-wise when she made Puget Sound.

Why do you have the shape so distorted?

Image
adding highways might be fun.. they can be a way to pass over the mountains

Correct County names:

Why 700x700?

Allowed:
1. SMALL MAP: WIDTH up to 630 px; HEIGHT 600 px
2. LARGE MAP: WIDTH up to 840 px ; HEIGHT 800 px.

Those are just guides. It can't be larger than that. It can be 800 wide by 425 tall.

I was gonna comment on the state being too narrow but I see Tisha addressed it. However those new maps are projected funny as well. They appear to be a little elongated east-west than normal and the northern border is a flat horizontal line which isn't correct unless you're projected in Mercator or with some goofy world datum using decimal degrees.

I made this quick and dirty map of Washington using a State Plane 1983 Washington North coordinate system.

it doesn't need fixed, it would be best to start over.
get the names correct also.

Correct the name of the thread Washington.

I did it so that everything is easy to change, I can just delete things and add them, very easy.

classic maps aren't bad per se, there's just a lot to choice from, but if you make a nice classic map, i'm sure it'll be played, however if you do add some gameplay elements like cities it'd be nice as well.
