Developer - skeeta
Territories - 32
Continents - 5
Bonus zones - 3
This may have been suggested before but have you tried searching an online forum for words like computer, desktop, windows and files?

Each folder, drive and shortcut is a territory, the 5 windows each represent a 'continent with each item inside able to attack the other items contained within the same folder.

The attached image is lifesize for the small map. I can't think of a way to show routes yet that is in keeping with the theme and there's a lot of work required to clarify the map but, in theory, would it be interesting to play? I think it would but I'm a little unsure of my standing legally using the icons I have included.

Unique idea - although I think something similar to the Tron world would be more popular.

;)

I can respect that Helix, each to his own. I will never play on the Hive map again but I know lots of people love it.
Whats wrong with this one for you? Is it purely the look?

Probably, especially at the moment, and it's something to think about for the future certainly but, as a first map, this way would be a simpler, less complicated way to learn and it's set in a scene that almost everyone is familiar with.

That, really, is the problem I think. Games are usually an escape from the dreary crud most of us have to deal with in everyday life. To be staring at a screenshot of Windows file folders... for fun... well, I think it would be a very hard sell. There would have to be a lot of entertaining stuff, a lot of spice to make it worthwhile. It would almost have to be a 'joke' map, I'm thinking.

Joke map sounds about right. I think this could be a hilarious map, and I'd play on it just because of that.

So you think it would have more legs if it was poking fun? Let me have a play and see what I come up with.

I think, if executed well, this could be a fine map! You do need to make sure those icons aren't under copyright, but good thinking changing the names. I'll be interested to see what you've got for the more "joke" concept.

This. There's definitely potential here, you just have to execute it right ;)

I agree with commander9 but it is nothing to go to jail over or pay a big fine for using a copyrighted deal.

Best thing about this map is that you wouldn't even need to shrink it when the boss comes into your office ... lol
