I would like to propose a new map idea involving airports across the world. Using airports such as: London-Heathrow(LHR), New York(JFK), Paris-Charles De Gaulle(CDG), Sal Paulo(GRU), Los Angeles(LAX), Chicago(ORD), Moscow(SVO), Sydney(SYD), Madrid(MAD), Tokyo(NRT), Hong Kong(HKG), Seoul(SEL), Berlin(BER), Johannesburg(JNB), Santiago(SCL), Vancouver(YVR), Toronto(YYZ), Tahiti(PPT), Honolulu(HNL), Auckland(AKL), Rome(FCO), Beijing(PEK), Delhi(DEL), Reykjavik(RKV), Dubai(DXB), Mexico City(MEX), Atlanta(ATL), Denver(DEN), Athens(ATH), and Princess Juliana, St. Maarten(SXM). Also, include some World Wide Airliners such as: Lufthansa(BER), Korean Air(SEL), Delta(ATL), United(ORD), Air France(CDG), British Airways(LHR), Abu Dhabi Aviation(DXB), Qantas(SYD), TAM Airlines(GRU), South African Airways(JNB), and Air Canada(YYZ). Bonuses for Controlling all Airliners should be + 8. Bonus for controlling North Western Hemisphere(JFK, ATL, DEN, ORD, YYZ, LAX, YVR, HNL, MEX, RKV) should be + 6, South Western Hemisphere(SCL, GRU, SXM) should be + 2, North Eastern Hemisphere(LHR, CDG, SVO, MAD, NRT, HKG, PEK, SEL, BER, FCO, ATH) should be + 8, and South Eastern Hemisphere(JNB, DXB, SYD, AKL, PPT, DEL) should be + 4. Both Eastern Hemispheres must go through HNL to gain access to both North and South Western Hemispheres. North Eastern Hemisphere must go through RKV to gain access to North Western Hemisphere. And, South Eastern Hemisphere must go through JNB to gain access to South Western Hemisphere. All airports are accessible to each other within the same Hemisphere. To control an Airliner, must control the city the airliner resides.

If you illustrated what you just wrote, it would make a lot more sense.
But from what I gather, Rail World in the skies or World cities with abbreviated names.

So... all territories in the same bonus area are connected to each other? Not sure how well that would work. For one, it would ruin fog games.

I'm addicted to CC as I thought of this a long time ago, but said naw! Anyways it could be a good idea but I foresee problems with using actual airlines due to copyright issues. Do a draft and post it please!

It can be an idea for a classic map, but since we had an update not so long time ago, It would need a diferent territorial structure

Could one hold all of one Airline? So like QANTAS +3, Etihad +100, Garuda -5(they crash alot) and they're placed all over the map at different airports(some airports contain more than 1).
It'd be interesting to see a map where you can attack really far eg.1/3 of the way around the world.
Military aircraft capable of bomabrding very far?

Just a side note, not all airports connect to one another. Most don't in fact. It depends on what airline you use. We could have CC names for airlines. LackAttack Air? Clapper Skies? (Okay, perhaps this just amuses
me, but I like the idea
)
I think it could be feasible. The concept certainly needs work, though.

I'd recommend taking a single international carrier and use their international routes as a starting point. Most airlines still use a hub arrangement and only connect a couple places on a cross continent basis. An example is American Airlines
