I think I'd refrain from using diagonal lines to indicate it isn't a playable area, since you already use such lines for shared regions. Plus, the carets look better I think anyways.

Hm, good point. It's just there's something about the carets that kinda bothers me, I just can't put my finger on it... I guess I'll keep trying different things, if I can't figure out anything better then I'll keep the carets.

One more thing, about the gameplay...

I think all the territories in British Islands and Mongolia could be coded as starting positions. That would be a total of 6 starting positions, and it would prevent dropping them in 2-6 player games... or, in case of 2-player games, if one is dropped then the other is dropped by the other player.

As for 7-8 player games, I think the probability of dropping any bonus should be pretty minimal in those game types.

I think what you should do is not have those territories that are part of 2 bonuses. Maybe I am the only one that thinks that though lol

Sorry, those are going to stay. Their purpose is to encourage you to try holding both of the areas. And if you don't like them you can always go for bonuses that don't have them.

the ^ in the tundra they look like mountains or frozen sea
maybe you should try some small vertical lines randomly placed

I think you should extend the mountains that block Hungary from the Ukraine a little bit south, to cover a portion of the Romania border. Not as a gameplay change, Romania and Ukraine should keep their border. I just think it'll look better/make the impasse a little more noticeable. Right now, to me, It just looks awkward, and is barely noticeable unless you know to be looking for it. Romania and Ukraine have a pretty big border. I think if you add 3 more mountains south to right above the word "Romania" it'll just look... swell.

Very good. I think I'm pretty much tapped as far as suggestions go. It all looks great to me. I guess the only thing I'd mention is that if this is supposed to be a modern day representation of Eurasia your depiction of the Aral Sea is a little generous, but that is so... unimportant.

I like the new tundra look.

If you want to add some more impassables in SE Asia, you could go with jungles?

Also, consider an alternative abbreviation for Switzerland. SW is commonly associated with South West, which could be a little confusing.

CH is its official two-letter abbreviation if that helps.

Yeah, it kinda is. At this scale the difference wouldn't be that great anyway.

SE asia is already kinda cluttery, what with the funky shaped countries and all, adding more stuff to it might just make it worse, you know?

Actually, once I get the gameplay stamp, I'm planning on tweaking the territory labels and getting rid of all abbreviations... I'm also planning on tilting some labels so they fit better within the territory boundaries.

Redid the mountains north of Amur, they looked a bit too linear...

I think I liked the sandstone legend over the gray one, though the super bonus headers on the gray one look better than they do on the sandstone one.
