Hmmm - how unrealistic do we want the future world to be though?

yes. I was just waiting for the go ahead before I started on the code. Still making some minor touch ups on the map. Will post it soon.
Don't start on the code just yet... gameplay needs to be balanced and the graphics need examination.

DukeHazzard wrote:so I am unclear on the woodborough idea. my intention was to have an arms race/lunar war feel. I cant visualize what my map would look like "woodboroughized". It's all solid colors on a drawn map. mine is overlayed on a real map. how do you suggest I incorporate the 2? before this idea came across, I had a few changes. so here is the next in the updates.

The Woodboro idea is suggesting you graphically go for brighter colours, and I guess gameplay-wise it means a system which doesn't involve the big bonus.
A question of taste - I personally think you can stick with your intended style - sci-fi but not too far fetched or comic-parodied?
I'm guessing a balance would involve lighter colours and more chunky iconic symbols / spaceships?

Did you draw the world map yourself?

I used a satelite image map and cut it apart to reverse the continents. then touched it up where needed.

Where did you get the satellite image? Any images used in a map must be free of copyright.
