I propose a new map, adding to the USA map selection. Please share your opinions. Thank you.

Some concerns...

1) we have plenty of USA maps. Why exactly is this one needed? I'm not saying it isn't, but that it's your job to convince your audience of the necessity of this map. The best way to do this is to offer something unique in terms of theme or gameplay.

2) the bonuses don't make any sense. You have 4 bonuses, all blue, all green etc. Each of them contains what, 15-20 territories, and gives you 3-5 troops? Why would anyone even try to hold any of those bonuses? (if any of them even can be held in most game types...)

3) the gameplay in general doesn't make any sense. The map is too open. There are no areas you can defend, which results in carnage = the one with the best dice/drop wins.

I know it's hard when you're a beginner mapmaker and I usually try to encourage people who post their first drafts. But in this case I'd say you'll probably need to redesign the whole thing. Try playing some games on maps that are similar to the map you want to make. Study the game dynamics, what features make the map good and fun to play? Then try to implement a similar dynamic to your map.
