Dead Pool?

Dont really know how to organize it, but if theres actually any interest. Wikipedia is my and your friend. Will take sign ups for the next 2 days and give you 1 day after that to make your pick.

both of those scenarios could work for me.

how about you list 100 celebs you think will die this year, each player picks 9 and gives a date for their death. If the celeb dies you get 50 points plus (100-the amount of days you were out by). Then each player gives their own pick, doesnt give a date but gets 100 points if they die

No no no, that's not how you do death watch.
You get a list of 100 celebs you think are going to die you score 100pts - the persons age (in years) when they die
Add a few 100pt bonuses:
Death Clock: Have two of your celebrities die on the same day
Grim Reaper: Predict more deaths than anyone else
Time Stolen: Have the youngest death on anyone's list
Murderer: Have a murdered person
Suicide: Have a celeb commit suicide
Roll-over: Have a month with no deaths followed by a month with 4 or more (+100 for every above 4)
Death Before Marriage: Have a celeb which is engaged die
That's just sick: Be able to predict what they die from.
Personally I think Gazza will die this year, but I'm not playing
