The rules are there are no rules. So just either summon a monster to destroy the one before or use a magic or spell, its kind of like king of the hill.
I summon Dark Magician in attack.

i use depolomize your ultimate blue eyes and use change of heart and obalisk to destroy them.

player 1 summons dark magician(2500)
player 2 summons blue eyes(3000) and destroys dark magician
'player 1 summons three blue eyes(3000,3000,3000) and fuses them into ultimate blue eyes(4500)
player 2 de-fuses them(3000,3000,3000) and steals one with change of heart and attacks with it and obalisk(4000)
player 1 uses jinzo(2400) to block change of heart
player 2 uses man eating bug(???) to kill jinzo
so player 2 has man eating bug(???)blue eyes(3000) and obalisk(4000) left on the field
aog tries to use thunder attack and loses
