Is it a stereo system?

1. It is bigger than a bread box.
2. It is not alive.
3. It is man-made.
4. Some parts of it are metal.
5. This particular kind of thing was invented in the 20th century.
6. It might float, but I wouldn't want to test it.
7. It is not used for transportation.
8. It is not designed for a person to "enter it."
9. A fair amount of American households have them; halfway between yes and no.
10. It's very unlikely it would be in the kitchen. So, no.
11. It is not a necessity.
12. It does use electricity.
13. It is not a computer.
14. It is not a TV.
15. They definitely can cost thousands of dollars, but they vary in price.
16. It is used for entertainment.
17. They project noise.
18. It is not a stereo system.

Probablyu not an instrument, and it had to exist in some form over 100 years ago...

Nah, you got everyone going in the "makes noise" direction. But I loved it when I got asked "does it float." I couldn't help but imagine someone tossing their guitar in to test it out. It is a ponderous question though.

EDIT: Apparently, "ponderous" has nothing to do with the word "ponder" as in to think deeply. Guess I found a better way to use it.
