I think that would be interesting. It would certainly add a new dynamic to it.

I don't like the idea - I think the game is complex enough as it is, especially with 4 players, but maybe I'm wrong.

I don't know if the new rule would make it more complex. I mainly like it cause it'd be more dynamic. Sorta like escalating vs no spoils. I'm an escalating kind of guy.

Could be a toggleable rule much like spoils. At the very least, we should experiment with it.
