hi all
See:
https://www.mafiauniverse.com/forums/th ... ost7877323I think it would be fun to join as community. Games are quite high paced but the lot are fun. Aiming to get 120 communities involved and I figured we should participate.
I'm down to represent us, but of course if others want to I'm fine in making it a vote. Will have to decide on someone within a week if we get accepted regardless.

I refer to
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Gi9 ... WT21E/editNote: backup also needs to be decided on. Apparently we played in the past as well!

Cool, sounds good to me. I have played before on MU and it's pretty neat with the forum functions. The activity is like 100 times more though lol. Happy for you to represent EW.

Can we get more details about it. I made a quick read, but not in detail as again not much time this month, but hopefully in a week I 'll be more available.
I understan we will play in different games and representing CC. Can the people that played before give a quick guide on how it works.
I'm intrested and vote EW for Sheriff here

1 Representative per community, 1 backup player.
Representative plays 1 game with 14 other players. May/may not advance depending on performance. If you advance, you play another. If you advance again, you play another.
The setup is a semi-open matrix, meaning that town nor mafia know the complete setup at the start.
Everything is hosted on mafianuiverse.com and is fully automated, this includes voting, pr actions, and eliminations/nightkills.
Expect a lot of activity. Depending on the playerlist, day 1 will have between 1k and 2k posts.

So really, it's just one individual (and a back-up) playing for himself on another site... but he wears a symbolic CC tee-shirt while he does it.

No no, he wears a giant sword for a shirt. We need to show them we're not playing around, and also... our GIRTH

So do we as a group debate the representative’s moves/posts and decide together? Is that the point?

All for this EW if you want to do it. Time wise too busy so I won't offer myself as a backup, which who are we kidding I probably wouldn't survive day 1, but can support as I can on the CC side

Because I saw a past game of mine mentioned...
2 players advanced from each game based on player votes. Then, jury decides on advancement. I didnt score in the top2 of my game, but advanced by jury decision. In fact, 7 of the 15 players in my game advanced!
In my semifinal game, I died night 2 as a consensus town but my reads were not great. Unfortunately we lost in a very close call. I scored 7th out of 15 in that playerlist, when only 5 people advanced from each game. I am, however, a sub in the "final" game.
In my experience this is mostly a glorified intercommunity tournament but it's still very fun, apparently it was the first time CC made semifinals too! (yes we played before in the past apparently)

Great job EW! I know how tough those games can be! I recognized some of the names you played against. In some ways it's easier to read as you have more active players, but much harder to keep up yourself and avoid getting lynched.
