The Werewolves of Miller's Hollow Wolves win
Posted: Mon Jan 01, 2024 1:29 pm
The small village of Miller's Hollow is beset by monstrous enemies hidden in their midst!
Werewolfs have the village at their sight. Can the villagers organize and unmask the werewolfs hiding amongst them or will the werewolfs fest on all the villagers.
Everyone has 2 roles - One hidden and one public - Both were handed at random and any hidden role is compatible with the public role.
Characters and Powers might be found here https://world-of-board-games.com.sg/docs/Werewolves-Pact.pdf
But Host might do small modifications on roles to balance the game.
Public Roles are common knowledge and are known as the Village
The Village:
The Bailiff’s House - The Bailiff - Ragian
Representing law and order, he is the one who has the task of granting vacant houses to the vagabonds.
When a building is freed due to the death of its occupant, the bailiff can choose a vagabond of his choice. The Vagabond gets the power of the building even if it has already been used.
The Bailiff can assign 1 building to a vagabond each day.
The Manor - The Lord - Devante
His arrogant attitude might be annoying at times, but he is the only one who, due to an ancient and still unabolished tradition, can pardon a convict. The Lord thus remains a respected personality with whom it’s better to stay on good terms.
After any vote, the Lord can, when requested by the future lynched, pardon the villager. The player will thus not get lynched.
A selfish Lord can, of course, Pardon Himself.
The Lord can only pardon once per game.
The Church - The Confessor - Votanic
The confessor can hear in Confession a parishioner of his choice whose secrets he’d like to learn.
At any point during the Day, the Confessor can post the name of the player he wants to hear the confession in green and I will reveal the role of the chosen player to the confessor secretly via PM .
The Confessor can only use his power once per game.
The Hovel - The Bonesetter - Extreme Ways
The talented Bonesetter can give back your youth as well as all of its benefits.
At any point during the day, the Bonesetter can make a player regain the unique power for a building that they’ve already used. This should be publicly stated in green in the forum.
The Bonesetter can only use his power once per game.
The School - The Schoolmarm - Strike Wolf
In the village, the Schoolmarm often reprimands those who point fingers.
Each Day (during the first 48 hours) the schoolmarm can forbid 2 players from voting.
The Schoolmarm never votes.
The Schoolmarm and the players she forbid from voting can still debate.
The Schoolmarm cannot forbid a vagabond from voting.
Permanent Power.
The Pub - The Barkeep - Loose Canon
To make his power prosper, he takes care not to run afoul of any sort of patron, specially since his tavern is open from dawn to dusk.
The Werewolves can’t devour him and he can not be voted during the day.
If he votes for someone who is then eliminated he loses his immunity.
The Barkeep must vote during the first 48 hours of each day and cannot switch its vote or will lose its immunity.
Permanent and Conditional Power.
The Barber Shop - The Barber - Swang918
This famous Barber is an artist with a razor. He sometimes takes advantage of his tool to mete out justice by himself in order to eliminate a character he feels is suspect.
At any point during the day the barber can eliminate a player of his choice. Thai must be stated in green in the Forum.
If the player eliminated is a werewolf, the Barber is congratulated by the village and he survives his action. Otherwise the Barber is immediately eliminated.
The Barber cannot eliminate a Vagabond.
The Farms - Farmers - DirtyDishSoap, Maxeload, *Pixar*, SoN!c, Ewebasher, Mpolo, and Thor60
In our idyllic countryside, Farmers are numerous and their influence remains very important.
The first Day Farmers must debate and choose one of them to be Sheriff
If the last Farmer dies there will no longer be a sheriff.
The Sheriff - DirtyDishSoap - Pixar
One isn’t born a Sheriff, one becomes a Sheriff - A player cannot refuse the honour of being a Sheriff, for now on that player vote counts as two votes. If that player is eliminated, with their last breath, the player choose his successor among the remaining farmers alive.
Vagabonds - Charle, ParkedRagian, Degaston and Fusibaseball
The Courageous homeless only wish to join the village in order to fulfill their dreams of becoming useful.
The power of the Schoolmarm and the Barber cannot be used against a vagabond.
A Vagabond can refuse to occupy a house offered by the Bailiff.
This is my first game as a Host so I hope everyone enjoys the experience.
