You're not wasting your vig ability because odds are you don't have one.
Besides, the way to prove you are not lying it to use it rather than use an inconclusive game scene as a proof of towniness. It has the added effect of lynching someone else and analysing vote patterns for better scumhunting, since you can't analyse vote patterns when someone declares a guilty (everyone can vote because they have a "get out of jail free" card). Just stop the "I don't want to 'waste' my vig kill" and prove you're for real by doing it.
I don't see a good reason to lynch me now instead of waiting to see how N2 unfolds. We can verify who's lying after it.
