Actually, I'm gong to VOte:Fircoal as well seeing as how he has disappeared.... What's your excuse, chu..? COLLEGE? Bah!

I have disappeared. And yes College is part of that reason. There are more parts to that reason but I don't particularly feel like sharing because it is somewhat personal. Regardless if you have not noticed I haven't posted in much of anything here. So it's not like I'm being the scummest scumariner of scum proportions. In fact I am probably not even the only person here who has posted little.

Would you look at that, my last post in general was from this game itself. Considering I have another game and a game I'm modding myself (in which I love to talk), I think it'd be more natural to assume that I have been busy than scumarineing. i wasn't saying i didn't want a claim, it was more a commentary as to why he hadn't posted recently (the joke vote stage ended quickly IMO) and that i was only unvoting bc i didn't want to put him at L1. in fact i was going to point out that fir gave an excuse but no claim at L2, and i agree with jamesker1 assessment, i thought fir was a little whiny in his second post but it's probably just bc he's got some other stuff going on besides this game as he alluded to

did we expect a scenario in which fircoal gave an excuse that wasn't going to be satisfactory? LOL

also, it's a little bothersome that jamesker1 voted me without technically giving a reason, i'm assuming it's partly random and also based on my activity levels as well but there wasn't much to go on over the weekend and i was waiting for fir to surface

Claims are good when we are about to lynch someone to test to see if their role matches up or is important. Someone who has been started early in Day 1 and doesn't have that much against them is not usually someone you want to claim. In fact at that point it is better for the mafia to get a claim than the town.

Claims are good when we are about to lynch someone to test to see if their role matches up or is important. Someone who has been started early in Day 1 and doesn't have that much against them is not usually someone you want to claim. In fact at that point it is better for the mafia to get a claim than the town.

I disagree to a point. mafia already knows who is Town but a claim can give them clarity as to who to target.
On the flip side Town is completely blind as to who is who. In my opinion a claim gives Town a starting spot to work from. Lets say the Cop is forced to claim. Mafia is going to have to think twice about targeting the cop for fear of any number of roles. The Doc knows who to protect.

ANYONE can be mafia so this idea that, "Someone who has been started early in Day 1 and doesn't have that much against them is not usually someone you want to claim." is Bologna.

In a game this small we need every bit of info. I look at these games as on big jig saw puzzle.

I totally agree with IB, here, and think that since it is suposedly "newbie friendly" there won't be any crazy roles. We can only HOPE we have a cop AND a doc, and not just one or the other. This means that the two scum are way ahead of us.

I am leaning toward a kgb or Jamesker vote, based on their posts, but I haven't seen anything to warrant an actual vote, yet... C'mon someone, do something scummy.

I apologize for "vote bouncing", I have stated previously that it was only to try and get a post or two out of some people, and that Greg was the last one, and my vote will go off him and potentially on someone else until he posts. Also, I think it would be nice to establish a general consensus of what non VT roles there are, and how many we have. Role blockers maybe if mafia get a kill (is that going to even happen in such a small game?), philosophers, watchers, cop, doc, mason... That might help once claims start popping up.

I'm with Nark, here, in thinking that it's going to be rather basic: cop, doc, scum x2, and vanilla x4...It's close enough to a C-9 numerically, that I think he's probably using that as a base.

What would you need to warrant a vote? If you are leaning towards them you are doing so for a reason. What would you need to see?

I'm personally thinking KGB or Greg right now... KGB just sounds a little scummy, and Greg provided the same reasoning against me as TWO, with a little bit picked from one of KGb's posts, just worded a little bit differently. From an outside view, I don't even really see a case against me... But maybe I'm wrong. I guess I'll stop promoting activity...

Also, just so we can look at some of my posts being times with some others...

-Vote 1- Fircoal. I was the first person to post after his reasoning. What did I do? Unvoted. I could have called bs and made a case out of it, and tried to get some other people who voiced they were a little suspicious to jump on, and maybe gotten 4/5 need to lynch within the next few posts with good enough reasoning. But nope, I pointed out something small in a later post that page that I saw in his argument, but dropped it and moved on. That was probably the case I could have ran with the most.

-Vote 2- KGB. Wow, look, I did the same thing. One of the first posts after his, and what did I do? Unvote. IB is still running with a case against him, something I could have supported and made an ill-informed lynch out of. But I unvoted. Again, after making a comment about some small detail in his post. Seeing a pattern?

-Vote 3- Greg. Hey, guess what? The pattern continues. Unvoted him, gave a small detail about his argument, and moved on.

So... In conclusion... I think 2 of you are scum, and I just got my over 25% accuracy rate I'd watch it, I'm on fire with calling things right

I was reserving my vote until we heard more from Fir but it's becoming more and more difficult with each of your posts James...

i didn't vote against you because i still think Fir shoulda been claiming at L2, i agree with IB that we should definitely get a claim since it's such a small game and Fir arguing against himself claiming smells to high heaven to me..
