Well, since it's C9, we're not sure whether we even have a power role. We could have a doc, cop, both, or neither. So yeah, I would think it's better for the power role to not claim unless they get a guilty investigation. Assuming we have a cop...

I think it really depends on the situation. If you are a doc its best not to claim. As a cop maybe when you get a guilty result but even then I would try and make a case on them first without claiming. If nobody follows the case the claim and say your result.

Different roles have different times when it is good to claim too Just really depends on what happens.

This. Generally doc and cop are the best town power roles, so not painting a bullseye on yourself by claiming prematurely always helps. Especially if it's a larger game, mafia usually have roleblockers and other things to keep you from getting further night info.

Technically, since this is a C9 game, there is no roleblocker. However, the strong possibility that we don't have either a doc or a cop is designed to prevent follow the cop strategy from being used.

This mafia set-up will be a C9 game. i would at least 2 new/inexperienced players to join. 5 spots will be open for anyone and at least 2 spots designated to newbs. Asking questions about mafia is highly recommended in this game, any questions about your role etc that would help give the game away must be pm'ed to me directly.
